For YEARS.... I have wanted to make jewelry. When I decided to open our store.... I started creating it. But, it seems that it never came about. There has always been a vision in my mind... of how I want it to look... Jewelry that I would wear without being too fancy , yet not cutesy either.
I wanted something cool and just a little funky. As I got into putting it all together... I found it was NOT for me....as it was oh, so tedious and time consuming. That was also when i found out I needed glasses ! Ha ! So, I dropped the idea for awhile. ANd always enjoyed wearing the few pieces that I did manage to complete. It was fun getting compliments on it too...and it always bothered me that I couldn't make
more....The idea was always nagging at me in the back of my mind. SO...... one day last week...when I needed something to occupy my mind while waiting for Mike's test results.... I pulled all my bits and baubles out...and started experimenting with a simpler look . Here is a sampling of some of what's been created so far..................
Fun, Simple wooden charms and pendants.... mixed together with antiqued silver and pretty color beads . Baubles and Bits of all the things that I love... All strung up on simple silvery chains. You'll see a few finished necklaces on my Wednesday update. I was going
to save them for our gathering here at the cabin in May...but, I can't wait that long to put some out there and see how others like it. This is just a tiny peek. There are many other fun ideas that I can't wait to put into action. Jewelry making is my new nighttime project. Fun !
By the end of last week.... we learned Mikes' test results were all good.... and he really does seem to be feeling better. This after a very bad February. So.... now everything seems to be falling into place. When things are well with my sweetie...things are well with me !
