Preparing.....

I LOVE getting ready for our Cinnamon Creek Events ! Oh, yes... it is stressful and worrisome.... always wondering what to do for it all....how to make it special and worthwhile.

But, I do enjoy it. Here are just a few pics of yesterdays projects. It was a beautiful day for painting signs in the yard....... I never get tired of signs...and they look so good hanging just

about anywhere!

Today I am going to finish all the above AND perfect the labeling on my candles AND.... get

my next batch of sewn and stuffed things stained and ready to finish. Perhaps I'll have more

FRESH AND NEW.....

Farmhouse Bath and Body line is underway here in my workshop. I am SO Excited to finally be making soap ! I LOVE SOAP ! Especially Good for the skin, wonderful smelling soaps and bath products. And NOW...... I can create a fine line and offer it in our store ! I've wanted to do this for YEARS ! Of course , I've made it all look all neat and farmy too..... Looks so neat just sitting around ! I'm not sure if I will have my full line ready for our upcoming Gathering...but, I'll have a nice sampling of it all..... I have been using my "Farmhouse" fragrance...which is hard to describe...but it is so fresh and invigorating ! It inspires me..... It is also a fragrance I use in my candles and sachets too..... much more to come... I'll write more in a few days.... Hope that you have a wonderful and Inspiring day ! ................Dru

Okay.... I 've changed my mind

I have got the BEST followers and customers EVER ! Thanks so much for so many emails and comments . I suppose I put too much pressure on myself...and you helped me realize that I

don't have to make blogging a chore...that I should continue to post whenever and however I wish..... So, that is exactly what I'll do ! Although it may only be occasionally... I will continue this blog along with keeping my Cinnamon Creek Site Fresh and informative as well. Who

knows what this coming summer will bring ..... I do intend on creating alot and reorganizing our life around here somehow....so, I will share those type of things with you as the summer goes along. Thanks again..... Have a WONDERFUL WEEKEND !

Fresh Eggs....

Well, My friends.... It seems that I am not meant for blogging. I do enjoy it, but, I simply don't do enough to blog about. When I started this "Fine Farmhouse" last fall.... I could see myself getting out and about and doing many things that I could write about and have pictures to share...but, life happened and I have been paying more attention to my husband and matters at home and business. So, I have decided to leave this blog and take it back to my website...where it all really needs to

be anyway. Some of you might remember when I did my "FRESH EGGS".... that was basically my blog on my site.... I , for some reason or another - thought I could do more this way...but, I really can't do anything different here than on my site except for the cool music. I can do without that. I 'll let you play your own music ! Ha ! Sorry.... I have a silly sense of humor.

Throughout this coming weekend - I will be redoing my website a bit - adding several new sections that may be of interest to you and I will start refreshing it all on a monthly basis. I will also start doing my "FRESH EGGS" again - which I will post things at least monthly , but hopefully more. I will be bringing to you a section on Decorating ideas, Gardening, Recipes ( remember when I had that ?)...... Not that I am an expert at any of these things.... But it will be fun to post ideas , tips, and recipes as I search and learn this season. I hope to make this interactive - so we can all share ideas. I will also open another section called "Off the beaten path" that will feature people and things that I love that aren't particularly related to primitives - but things I want to share.

I have been particularly busy these past weeks...and will continue to be up until May 8th.... preparing for our big Open House.... yep.... My 'Fresh Farm Summer " event will be here before I know it. I'll be sharing a bit about that on the site.

It has been a pleasure "meeting " many of you since I started this blog...and I hope that you will come visit me back "Home" at www.picturetrail.com/cinnamoncreek . I appreciate you all SO much and I cannot express my gratitude enough... for your continued support, enthusiasm, and for some of you...your patience - as I've been through a long, difficult winter with my hubby.
