Turn, Turn, Turn....

I feel that I have gone full circle in my style seeking journey this past year....Turn, Turn, Turn.....
For, I ventured out for a while... trying to think outside the primitive box. You, see... I have been in this business for alot of years...and I am one of those who likes change every once in a while. I got tired of what I've been doing for a living...for 20 years. This has been a fairly good living...and I've been able to stay home and create things from my heart... simple and folky things - and people will pay me to do so. I am so very blessed.
As I began to prepare for my Autumn Open House at the cabin .... There seemed to be no other way to style the cabin except for what I know best.... Down - Home American Country Primitive. I'll keep my more contemporary country decor attitude at the farmhouse ...Yes... I can have the best of both worlds ! This cabin is what I love.... and of course... this is where primitive lives.I hope not to bore some of you with these pictures....maybe some of you have already seen these on my site. Many have not. I am proud of my Cabin this year. This new season has

brought me back to what I love. Pure, simple, country goodness.
No frills.... Authentic , made from the heart things .
Natural things... found things... fresh things...old things...., naive ,yet creative things.
That's what primitive is
That's what my cabin is all about.... no mass produced items....Just things that I love to make and things I love to have around me.... And, I know many others feel the same....as they come to this cabin and buy it. For that - I am grateful. My recent gathering was a great success. I never have a huge crowd. But, to me.... it's a lot. It's more of an intimate gathering. Friends that come - know me and they like what I like.... we have a style of our own. I invite...any of you who appreciate these pictures and words... to visit me.... whether it be in the cabin , or on my website .... There is SO much more to come !

Plans for the day.....

Today - I will be finishing up a few more of these...........and these ...... ( I'm so glad that more and more folks are liking the white pumpkins !)
and I'll be having fun with these..............
And.... oh, YES.... I must make more these fine characters ! .....................
Making Harvest goods is hands down...my favorite ! And the fresh cool autumn air today has got this gal unbelievably motivated ! I can't wait to see what I can accomplish today ! I have tons of fun vintage goods that need some attention too ! I'm dragging everything out on the porch and working on all things out there !
My Autumn Gathering is one week from today..... I'm SO excited ! I have much to finish....and more creating to do !!! More pics to

Another Lovely Day

Time's a slippin' away.... Today , for me... is all about finishing a nice big batch of many items that I've started. I have many little ladies and gentlemen in dire need of clothing ! Lovely fabrics are drying on the line - and will be sewn into simple attire for these folks later on today . I have many new ideas floating around in this little brain of mine.... If I organize my time - and not get too distracted ( easily done these days :-) --- I will have many more BRAND new

items to start on this evening.... New characters and critters are just visions in my mind right

now.
The Cabin Gathering is only 9 days away... OH, so much to do ! SO little time !
